What is Physiolates (Clinical Pilates)?
Physiolates is a Rehabilitation exercise program for injury management utilising various types of equipment including pilates reformer beds, weights, bikes, bands, steps, foam rollers, trapeze table and many more. At Glen Eira Physio, we focus on developing individual programs of Physiotherapy exercises that aim to treat an injury, tone and stretch your body, correct poor posture, alignment and movement patterns. This will reduce the risk of injury and re-injury in the future.

Prior to joining our classes, our physiotherapists will book you in for a full assessment, followed by 3-5 private sessions, during which time a specific and safe program will be created for you.

Our Program
Once you have completed your private sessions, you will be able to join a group class. Classes are only taken by qualified experienced Physiotherapists with post graduate training in clinical Pilates. These classes may be claimable through your health fund provided you meet the criteria for claiming and are attending our clinic for injury rehab.
Our Physiolates programs are used for the rehab of sports and spinal injuries, post operative hip and knee replacements, spinal surgeries, general strength and conditioning, postural issues, knee and hip arthritis, ACL tears and many more.
We offer several types of clinical Pilates classes depending on your needs and goals. Whether you choose to continue with private classes or join a group class, there’s an option for you. We also conduct specific pregnancy physiolates classes at the centre. Pay as you go or pay upfront for our physiolates group classes, Glad program, osteoporosis classes, and more. We offer physiolates (clinical Pilates) classes as well as private sessions. We also offer specific pregnancy physiolates. All of our clinical Pilates services are conducted by physiotherapists with post-graduate training in clinical Pilates.
