Brigitte is a dedicated physiotherapist who holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. Originally from Canada, she relocated to Melbourne to pursue a career in physiotherapy, driven by a passion for helping people improve their health, confidence, and overall wellbeing through movement and exercise.
Throughout her training, Brigitte gained diverse clinical experience across outpatient, hospital, and regional healthcare settings throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria. She also worked as a sports trainer within VFL football, developing strong skills in injury management and rehabilitation. In addition, she completed her Clinical Pilates certification, which she enjoys incorporating into rehabilitation to help patients build strength, confidence, and long-term movement habits.
Brigitte has a particular interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, including back and neck pain, sports and gym-related injuries. She has a strong interest in resistance training for healthy ageing and to support long-term functional independence. She is passionate about helping people stay active, build resilience, and return to the activities they enjoy through evidence-based, individualised care.
